The Mudeka Foundation presents Mvhengemvhenge

A celebration of music from Zimbabwe, West Africa and from around the world. Anna Mudeka will be joined by friends and special guest Chartwell Dutiro world master mbira player from Zimbabwe. www.chartwelldutiro.com.

A chance for everyone to come and see Anna Mudeka work with Chartwell Dutiro again on this rare one off opportunity. Enjoy an afternoon of songs from Zimbabwe, and drumming with Dhumisani drumming group. Proceeds will go towards supporting schools in Zimbabwe with instruments to learn traditional music.

An invitation from the President of the Rotary Club of Norwich was extended to the Octagon Singers to give a concert of popular music such as theme from television programmes, films and musicals. Programme to include

Narrated by Paul Binney, the Octagon Singers will be accompanied by Judy Tovey – Piano and Conducted by Mary Rae.

Octagon Psalms was written in 1994 for the 10th Anniversary of the Octagon Concert Series. It is dedicated to the Octagon Singers who gave the first performance.
